In an effort to improve efficiency and flexibility, Microcell has announced its plan to close its facilities in Espoo and Turku, Finland. The company wants to consolidate its Finnish operations to its facilities in Oulu and Kuopio. Microcell has initiated cooperation negotiations with its personnel regarding this plan.
According to the company, the announcement is part of a broader efficiency initiative that was introduced internally earlier this year.
The restructuring is expected to create 120 - 180 redundancies.
