Description
The MAN Group is one of Europe's leading suppliers of capital goods and systems in the fields of commercial vehicle construction, mechanical and plant engineering. Worldwide, MAN has 75,000 employees. There was a first announcement of 6000 job losses until the end of 2002, then 1000 more until the end of 2003. MAN plans to further cut the costs by suppressing some 800 jobs more, in particular at MAN Roland and Schloemann-Siemag.
