European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Canal+ social plan affects 443 workers out of 3038. 251 jobs will be suppressed at holding 'Canal+ S.A.', 'Canal-Satellite' and 'Canal+ Distribution'. 54 other jobs will be suppressed at StudioCanal. Moreover, 138 jobs will be transfered to other related companies.
These measures are the consequences of the financial difficulties of the group.
