European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Eramet announced a restructuring plan affecting around 1,100 workers out of a total of 4,100. 750 will be affected in the alloy activities and 350 will be hit by the closure of the 'Boulogne-sur-Mer' unit. The restructuring plans includes measures such as early retirement, retirement, end of temporary contracts and dismissals leading to partial unemployment. The restructuring will create 100 jobs.
