Description
The Canadian multinational company Magna, a world leading manufacturer in the automotive components sector, announced the closure of its subsidiary Rolam, with a view to relocate production in Poland. Rolam is in Altare, in the province of Savona, and now employs 140 people. Recently, the firm employed more than 200 workers and had already been involved in a restructuring effort. In the latest three years demand has been decreasing and the company recorded a total loss of more than 7 million euros.
