Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Elisa announced new cooperation talks, after a first restructuring announcement affecting 190 employees in August 2003. The latest announcement will lead to a reduction of 900 jobs. This measure aims at rationalising functions of the organisation which overlap.

As a result of the cooperation negotiations, the number of the personnel will decrease by 761 people. In addition to this, 142 fixed-term employments will be discontinued. There are 241 pension, voluntary and other solutions. The number of people to be made redundant is 520.
