Description

Flextronics has started cooperation talks in order to cut jobs. This is due to weak demand. The cuts are carried out by ending fixed term jobs and by direct dismissals of the permanent workforce.

October 2003

Flextronics decided to shut down its Kyröskoski unit during the next six months.

1 November 2003

Flextronics and Kyrel made a preliminary deal for Kyrel to take over the business activities of Flextronics in the beginning of next year. Kyrel will continue with the present personnel.
