European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The CEO of Sollac Atlantique has announced a restructuring plan affecting two units: Mardyck (that employs 1150 workers) where 430 job reductions are planned and Montataire (that employs 1250 workers) where 400 job reduction are planned. The social plan is part of the restructuring plan of Arcelor. Most of the planned job reductions should be realised through early retirement and transfers.
