European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
management and trade unions reached an agreement which cuts the number of redundancies from 1,100 to 430. 600 workers will be involved in a special Cig plan on a rotational basis. a 'mobility' scheme will be introduced for 110 workers and voluntary redundancies will be encouraged. The personnel to be placed on the mobility scheme will be identified from among workers who have met the necessary contribution requirements for entitlement to a seniority or old-age pension.
