European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
In the framework of the worldwide restructuring process of Pharmacia, the company is going to close down its commercial location in Milano, which will involve some 350 dismissals and the transfer of all commercial activities to Rome, and sell its R&D centre in Nerviano (MI), a world's leading research site for oncological treatments, which employs some 800 people.
