Description
Bosch Système de Freinage announced a restructuring plan of its French activities. Overall, 632 jobs should be suppressed and 125 created. The measure is due to difficulties in the conventional brakes systems compared to the ABS systems. The following plants are affected: Angers with 169 job losses, Drancy with 137, Beauvais with 95 and the closure of the plant of Leviers dismissing 71 workers. More dismissals (around 120) are announced at the plants of Buelna (Spain) and Bari (Italy).
