European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
As a direct consequence of the loss of Albert Heijn supermarkets as client, Bakker has to reduce its workforce by nearly the half. A social plan is negociated with the trade union FNV to avoid direct dismissals as much as possible.
