Description
A set of measures designed to ensure the long-term profitability and growth of the company are being implemented in the context of a programme initiated in November 2003. These measures include a reduction in the number of employees: 700 jobs were scrapped in 2003 and 1,400 further jobs will be cut in 2004. Most dismissals will be carried out in Europe.
