Kährs is planning to cut its staff in Nybro and Kalmar by 285. Notice has been given to the Länsarbetsnämnden (regional employment board) and negotiations will be initiated with the trade unions as soon as possible. The goal is to achieve a 20 percent rise in productivity. It is calculated that the reduction in staff will lower costs by 80 million SEK per year.
