Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Viasystems, under compulsory administration since October 2002, is looking for a partner in order to finalise the conservation of the 138 jobs. The workers left will run the activities for the two major clients until a solution is found for the company.
In August 2003, the court of Rouen approved the sell of the Viasystems' factory to Paris-Nord Electronique. 45 new job losses (early retirement) are also announced.
