Description

Antonio Merloni, an important manufacturer of white-goods, has announced a restructuring plan which includes 450 'structural' redundancies and an important investment in Ukraine for setting up a new plant for the production of medium-low end washing machines. The unions criticised the plan and called a strike for the end of February.
