Description

Management of IHC Caland proposed the restructuration plan on October the 1st to the trade unions. Announcement had already been made on the 2 September 2002. Negotiations are following.

August 2003, IHC Caland is closing the site of Van der Giessen-de Noord for the reason that the building of cruse ships and ferries is not profitable anymore: 400 jobs suppressed.
