European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Management of Shorts, the already heavily downsized aerospace subsidiary of Bombardier, announced on 6 June 2003 it would put an end to three contracts that allowed to employ 1,050 workers. These redundancies would take place within 18 months and are on top of the previously announced restructuring plan.
