Description
Flutter Entertainment, an online betting and gaming group, announced plans to cut approximately 240 jobs at its Clonskeagh office in Dublin, which employs around 1,750 people and manages UK and Ireland operations. Affected functions include finance, human resources, technology, training and legal services.
The reductions form part of up to 1,400 job losses across its UK and Ireland division, including European support centres. They aim to reduce fixed costs following UK gambling duty increases expected to cost the division $540 million in 2027.
Affected employees will be offered voluntary redundancy, with consultations due to begin shortly. The wider restructuring is expected to be substantially completed by the end of 2026.
