Description
Ficomirrors, an Italian mirror manufacturer for automotive brands such as Fiat Ducato and Ferrari, announced that it will relocate its entire production from Morcone (Benevento) to Poland in 2029. The shift is expected to affect roughly 160 of the current 210 employees at its plant. The move is driven by cost pressures, particularly lower labour costs abroad, and a strategic decision to consolidate manufacturing.
Trade unions FIOM CGIL have mobilised to secure guarantees for the affected workers and are engaged in negotiations with management.
