Description
Servinform, an Spanish company specialising in business process outsourcing (BPO), consultancy and customer services, has announced an Employment Redundancy File (ERE) potentially affecting around 430 employees, equivalent to approximately 10% of the 4,359 staff employed. According to trade union sources, 329 redundancies could occur in Seville, with additional employees affected in Madrid, Valencia, Granada, Barcelona, Las Palmas and Bizkaia.
The company attributes the restructuring primarily to the loss of several major service contracts with Endesa, alongside increasing competitive pressures and organisational changes in the outsourcing sector. The formal consultation process with employee representatives is expected to begin shortly, with the final number of redundancies and compensation arrangements still subject to negotiation. Despite the restructuring, Servinform emphasises that its operations will continue normally, supported by recently renewed and newly secured contracts with public administrations and major corporate clients.
