European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Posten Bring, the Norwegian postal and logistics group, has announced around 300 job cuts across Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Implementation is expected to begin before November 2026.
According to the management board, the restructuring aims to cut the company’s costs by 25%, also the use of new technologies, including AI, to streamline workflows as one of the reasons for the cuts. No breakdown by location has been provided yet.
Trade unions are involved, offering support and guidance to affected staff through meetings. The trade union leader Cathrine Ertsås pointed a difficutl situation for Posten Bring, that have to face a strong competition and weak profitability, in this sense 250 jobs were already cut in 2025.
