European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
MBDA Italia, the Italian defence and missile systems manufacturer, announced the creation of 200 jobs in Campania, Italy, as part of the expansion of its industrial activities in the region. The company has inaugurated a new production site in Pomigliano d’Arco dedicated to missile launcher systems, ceramic components for missile radomes and mechanical production; the facility currently employs more than 60 workers and is expected to expanf 200 additional positions. The expansion, driven by growing demand in the defence sector, will be implemented through a combination of new recruitment and internal staff transfers from the company's Fusaro site in Bacoli, which will continue to focus on research, design and advanced technologies.
