Description
LTS Licht-Technik Schlegel, a German manufacturer of architectural and industrial lighting that belongs to the Swedish Fagerhult group, will cut about 100 jobs at its production plant in Tettnang.
The company plans to wind down local production by 31 December 2027 after deciding to relocate manufacturing to existing group sites abroad, specifically to Sweden and China.
The move is driven by persistent economic deterioration and chronic under-utilisation of the Tettnang facility, prompting a consolidation of production capacity within the group.
IG Metall and the works council have been informed and will negotiate a social plan with the management.
