Description
Lynred, a French manufacturer of infrared detectors, has announced the creation of 300 new jobs as part of the expansion of its campus at Veurey-Voroize (Isère). The new campus is aiming to double production capacity by 2027, employing an estimated 1,300 people on site once fully operational. In 2025, the campus already hired 100 individuals.
The expansion is driven by rising demand in the defense, aerospace, and automotive sectors, coupled with a commitment to the green transition of energy-efficient upgrades and installation of solar panels covering 2,300 m². Strategic partners Thales and Safran each hold 50 % of Lynred’s shares.
