European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Accenture will recruit around 100 professionals and open a new innovation centre dedicated to the development and deployment of agentic artificial intelligence (AI) in Barcelona. The facility is intended to help private companies and public administrations adopt AI systems capable of autonomously executing complex tasks, moving beyond the capabilities of traditional generative AI tools.
The new centre will provide demonstration environments, solution design services and technical advisory support, enabling organisations at different stages of digital maturity to evaluate and implement AI-driven automation. The expansion will create demand for specialists in artificial intelligence, data science, software engineering, automation, cybersecurity and digital transformation, as well as experts in AI governance and regulatory compliance. By combining technology and business expertise, Accenture aims to position Barcelona as a strategic hub for the practical deployment of agentic AI, supporting the transition from pilot projects to large-scale implementation across multiple sectors.
