European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
KRN, a germany company in the field of public transport, has started building a new electiric bus depot in Wörrstadt that can accomodate up to 50 vehicles and will create around 120 new jobs. The new site will be completed at the beginning of Mai 2027.
The new depot is intended to contribute to the green transition in public transport in the region and promote reliable electric mobility. It is the first site in Rheinland-Pfalz designed exclusively for electric buses. The depot is equipped with modern charging infrastructure.
The employment effect is limited to the site in Wörrstadt.
KRN already employs 380 employees across Wörrstadt and neighbouring municipalities.
