European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
BestDrive, which was taken over by Xellent Services in June 2026, is cutting 200 jobs and closing 25 sites throughout France. This will have a significant impact on the company's retail network. Management's aim is to increase the flexibility of sales points to ensure further growth. Fifty of the company's sites are not profitable.
The job retention plan is still being negotiated, as is the exact breakdown between direct dismissals and other measures.
In total, the company has 130 centres points, including 34 independent franchises. BestDrive employs 1,300 people in France.
