European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Sanitex, a Latvian wholesale and distribution company, is investing €15 million in two PROMO Cash&Carry development projects in Riga: a new centre on Mazirbes Street and the full renovation of its existing Tīraines Street location. Over the past two years and through the planned opening of the Mazirbes street centre in the first half of 2027, Sanitex expects to create more than 100 jobs in Latvia, including positions in logistics and at the new retail centre.
The projects form part of the group’s broader strategic investment cycle of approximately €40 million. The Mazirbes street facility will serve business customers in Pārdaugava, Jūrmala and surrounding areas. Meanwhile, the renovated Tīraines centre will offer an expanded fish department, bakery section, larger freezer facilities and covered parking.
