European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
GXO Logistics, a US-based contract logistics company, plans to create around 150 jobs at a new distribution centre at 7R Park Lavičky, near Velké Meziříčí. Recruitment was under way in August 2026, and operations are expected to reach full capacity in the second half of 2027.
The expansion follows a multi-year agreement under which GXO will provide logistics services for L’Oréal across Central Europe. The facility is being developed by 7R with WOOD Real Estate as investment partner.
The positions will be created gradually as the centre is prepared and brought into operation.
The mayor of Velké Meziříčí raised concerns about additional lorry traffic associated with the development.
