European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Sodexo, a French food catering services group, has announced the elimination of up to 1,097 positions in France. About half of the affected posts are located in the Île-de-France region (Issy-les-Moulineaux), with the remainder spread across the rest of France.
The restructuring follows Sodexo's new strategic plan, Shift and Grow 2030, presented in mid-July. The company aims to streamline operations and adapt to evolving market demand. The job losses are being carried out through a PSE (Plan de sauvegarde de l'emploi) process, which began on 26 August 2026. The full plan is expected to be completed later in the year.
