Description

Entegro, an Irish engineering group that is part of the Kyntus Group, announced the creation of around 100 new jobs over the next two to three years through its acquisition of renewable-energy specialist Acel Energy and formation of Entegro Energy.

This acquisition and expansion adds fibre and telecommunications expertise to renewables generation and battery storage, with new positions expected to be based in Ireland.

The move is driven by a green transition strategy that broadens Entegro’s portfolio into renewable power and high-voltage infrastructure, aligning with growing demand for sustainable energy solutions. Job creation is concentrated in the newly created entity Entegro Energy.

Prior to the expansion, Entegro employed approximately 200 staff across its Irish and international operations.
