Description
Schön Klinik, a German healthcare provider, has announced that around 100 jobs will be cut at its Vogtareuth site. No timeline for the redundancies has yet been provided.
The job losses will affect support and clinical service departments, including construction and technical services, procurement and logistics, social services, and therapy planning.
The restructuring is part of a strategic realignment aimed at reducing costs and improving operational efficiency by outsourcing supply chain and administrative functions to external providers.
Negotiations on a redundancy package and social plan are expected to begin following the announcement to employees at a staff meeting. The works council is involved and has taken legal advice regarding the situation.
Schön Klinik currently employs around 1,300 people at its Vogtareuth facility.
