Description

Radici Chimica, an Italian chemical manufacturing company, announced 140 job cuts affecting employees at its production plant in Novara, Piedmont, representing almost half of the site's workforce of 290 employees. The company, acquired for the chemical sector by the US fund Lone Star Funds, mentioned also the involvement of four workers from the Bergamo plant, although the plan mainly concerns the Novara production site.

The Novara City Council unanimously approved a motion supporting the affected workers and calling for measures to limit the planned redundancies.
