European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Engel & Völkers, a German real estate group, announced a hiring plan in Spain that will add 267 commercial agents in the second half of 2026. The expansion targets Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Tarragona and Dénia, with Madrid expected to absorb 44 % of the new hires, while other provinces will also take on recruits.
Commercial representatives will be recruited under a labour contract as sales representatives. The initiative aims to transform the traditional commission-only model by bringing in talent from sales, banking and insurance backgrounds who possess commercial negotiation skills.
