Description
Walcownia Metali Dziedzice, a Polish non-ferrous metal semi-finished products manufacture announced planned collective redundancies affecting 200 employees. The planned reduction includes 163 production workers and 37 administrative employees.
The restructuring is attributed to difficult conditions in the European metal processing sector and the need to adjust the company’s processes, business model and product offer to market changes. Consultations with trade unions and employee representatives are ongoing, with talks expected to define the final conditions of the redundancies. The redundancy has been reported to the public employment services.
