Description

Dnata, a UAE-based aviation services provider wholly owned by Emirates, announced an expansion plan in Italy. The company will convert 300 temporary ground-handling staff at the airports of Rome Fiumicino, Milan Malpensa and Linate into permanent roles, and is set to create about 200 additional jobs when the new cargo hub at Malpensa opens at the end of 2027. The initiative follows agreements with labour unions aimed at improving job stability, skill development and operational resilience. The new cargo facility will handle over 100 000 tonnes a year, strengthening Dnata’s logistics footprint in Italy.
