European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
PGZ Stocznia Wojenna, a Polish naval shipyard in Gdynia belonging to Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa, plans to recruit 300 additional employees by the end of 2026.
The expansion is driven by the transformation of the Polish defence industry and growing demand for qualified staff in shipbuilding and advanced defence production. The shipyard is involved in naval construction, repairs and modernisation, including projects for the Polish Navy. The new jobs are expected to support the company’s expanding military shipbuilding activities.
