Description

Diamond Foundry, an American technology company specializing in advanced synthetic diamond production for semiconductor applications, has announced the creation of 300 direct jobs at its new plant in La Cartuja Baja, Zaragoza, Spain.

The facility is part of the company's broader strategy to build a global value chain for high-performance chips, enhancing European technological autonomy. Hiring began already this year, with the opening of the Plant expected by 2027.

The expansion is driven by demand for advanced materials in the digital economy and the strategic importance of semiconductors. It complements Spain’s investment ecosystem and supports the region’s industrial diversification without involving outsourcing or relocation of existing staff.
