Description
Autolöwen, a German automotive retail group, announced the closure of seven branches in Germany, resulting in the loss of approximately 100 jobs across its locations in Schwäbisch Hall, Crailsheim, Heilbronn, Ludwigsburg and Öhringen. The closures and associated redundancies took place at the beginning of July 2026.
The closures followed the company's insolvency filing. Following the insolvency proceedings, a buyer was found only for the Aalen branch, where 33 jobs have been retained. The closures reflect the wider crisis affecting the German automotive sector.
Based in Schwäbisch Hall, Autolöwen had been operating for more than 30 years.
