Description
Jeronimo Martins Polska, the operator of the Biedronka retail chain, has already employed around 200 people at its new distribution centre in Sokołów Małopolski and plans to recruit around 300 additional workers, bringing total employment at the site to around 500. Recruitment covers logistics and warehouse-related positions.
The expansion is linked to Biedronka’s retail growth and the need to improve store supply operations in the region. The facility, located in the Podkarpackie region, is Biedronka’s 18th distribution centre in Poland and is intended to strengthen the company’s logistics network in south-eastern Poland. The new centre is expected to serve around 200–300 stores and is described as one of the company’s most modern logistics facilities in Poland.
