Description
Oracle, a U.S.-based multinational IT group, announced the dismissal of roughly 526 employees across its Romanian entities on 25 June 2026. The layoffs involve Oracle Romania, Oracle Global Services Romania, Oracle Sovereign Cloud Romania and Oracle Sovereign Cloud Tech Romania.
The restructuring follows an internal review of team structures aimed at reducing redundancies. Those affected by the process would receive advance notice, two months of 'garden leave', and severance packages which, according to the sources cited, may vary depending on length of service and could amount to as many as 12 months’ salary.
