European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Born and Ermel Ingenieure, a German engineering and planning firm, has announced the creation of 270 new jobs through the expansion of its headquarters in Achim. The new building is expected to be completed next year, when the employment effects will materialise.
The expansion is driven by the firm’s growing demand for engineering services and its commitment to sustainable development. The new building incorporates green building principles and a forward-looking energy supply, aligning with a broader green transition strategy. The headquarters will serve as the central hub for the company’s operations across Germany.
Born and Ermel employs around 400 people.
