Description

NKC, a Swedish manufacturing firm, has announced the dismissal of all of the company's approximately 100 employees following the loss of its main contract with SKF, a large supplier of products and services in the field of bearings and seals. The cuts affect the company’s core manufacturing operations that produce sheet metal, steel, and injection-moulded components for rolling bearings in Gothenburg. Dismissals have already been communicated to staff, with the process initiated after the contract termination. The Swedish trade union IF Metall's representative is involved in the proceedings.

NKC had 115 employees according to the latest numbers from 2024.
