Description

Tekever, a Portuguese firm specializing in drones and aerospace and defence, has announced it will create 200 highly-qualified jobs. The expansion will be anchored in Occitanie and Nouvelle-Aquitaine. The company will double its investment from €100 to €200 million over five years. A new 4 500 m² manufacturing plant in Cahors set to become operational this summer. The move aims to build a sovereign industrial backbone in France, focusing on autonomous systems, advanced R&D, production, and testing for defense, security, and space programmes. This development is driven by digitalisation, with new manufacturing lines and software integration for autonomous drones and satellite subsystems.

Two prior large-scale restructuring has been recorded in the ERM, with the latest in Tekever 2025 - PRT.
