European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
ID Logistics, a logistics company, announced the creation of 150 new jobs at its new fulfilment centre in the Mittelweserpark, Estorf. The expansion is scheduled to become operational in the third quarter of 2026.
The company is expanding its logistics centre in Mittelweserpark on the remaining available land, with the facility designed to handle high-volume and bulky goods for e-commerce. This development reflects the company’s strategic growth in distribution services and will increase its capacity to 112,000 m². The expansion is expected to enable shorter throughput times and a high level of service quality.
Currently, around 600 people are employed at the Mittelweserpark site, and this number is expected to rise to 750 once the expansion is completed.
Previous internal restructurings were recorded in the ERM database in May 2025, with 350 new jobs created at the Mittelweserpark site ID Logistics 2025 - DE, and in April 2026, with 300 new jobs created in Alsdorf ID Logistics 2026 - DE.
