Description

Black Red White S.A., a Polish furniture manufacturer, is ending production at its plant in Zamość, Lubelskie, which is expected to result in the dismissal of 161 employees at the production unit. The planned redundancies have been notified to the Public Employment Office.

The company will transfer part of the production mainly to its plants in Biłgoraj and Mielec, while logistics and warehouse activities are expected to remain in Zamość. The restructuring is part of a broader operational restructuring and production concentration programme, driven by cost and demand pressures in the furniture sector. According to information provided by the company and PES, some employees may receive offers of continued employment at other group locations, mainly in Biłgoraj.

Black Red White S.A. is one of Poland’s largest furniture manufacturers, producing and distributing furniture and home furnishing products. The company operates through several production and business locations in Poland, including Biłgoraj, Mielec, Chmielek and Zamość.
