Description
Inteva Products, the Czech subsidiary of the American parent company of the same name, and manufacturer of automotive components will close its plant in Rychnov u Jablonec nad Nisou in July and August 2026. This will result in the loss of more than 100 jobs.
According to company management, this move is the result of a review of available alternatives and options, under which production will be relocated to Romania. All layoffs affect the plant in Rychnov and are being carried out as mass layoffs; no other methods of termination are mentioned.
The union is negotiating the terms of the layoffs, but the details of the agreement remain undisclosed.
Inteva, which is part of The Renco Group, operates two other plants in the Czech Republic.
