European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The Polyclinic Pau Pyrénées, a French healthcare facility in Pau, announced the planned closure of Clinique Marzet and Maternité Navarre, threatening more than 160 jobs, including 50 nursing assistants, 37 nurses, 17 midwives, and 10 cleaners. The closure aims to streamline services amid concerns over overburdening the nearby public hospital. Affected employees will receive a 75% wage indemnity for one year, along with training options and potential internal reclassification. A meeting with trade unions and the prefecture to discuss the transition is scheduled for 9 May 2026.
