Description
Primark, an Irish low-cost clothing retailer operating in the retail and apparel sector, announced the creation of around 300 new jobs in Italy, linked to the opening of new retail stores in several locations including Cremona, Ancona and Gorizia, with additional planned openings in Parma, Naples, Rome and Genoa.
The job creation is part of a wider €22 million investment plan aimed at expanding the company’s Italian retail network from 20 to 28 stores over the coming years, marking what company management described as a new phase of growth in the Italian market; the new positions are expected to be mainly permanent retail jobs associated with store operations.
The company is also building the first logistic base, the constrution is planned to finish by end 2026.
